GOD WAS THE MATCHMAKER OF THEIR RELATIONSHIP
Good and Franklin have been married since 2012, and since they've gotten married, the actress has made it clear that she is certain God was the matchmaker for their marriage. They began dating in 2011 and vowed to remain celibate until marriage.
She started working on herself, dealing with past traumas and emotional issues, in order to get herself ready for her future husband.
SHE KNEW HE WAS GOING TO BE HER HUSBAND
During a previous interview on "The Tamron Hall Show," the actress revealed that during the time she was getting to know Franklin, she thought to herself that he was the type of guy she wished to marry someday.
"Man, that's the kind of guy I wish I could marry. And that was it. He's the guy that gives you the job. That's all I thought about."
IT ALL HAPPENED IN GOD'S PERFECT TIME
During the time they were filming "Jumping the Broom," where she was an actress and Franklin was the producer, Meagan was in a deteriorating relationship. The pair did not meet again until the premiere of their film nine months later, and that was when they began their relationship.
She started working on herself, dealing with past traumas and emotional issues, in order to get herself ready for her future husband. While she was doing all this, Franklin thought she was "out of his league."
It turned out quite well for both of them, as they went on a date two weeks after the premiere, and ten months later, they were engaged. Soon after, they tied the knot and the rest was history.
