Serena Williams Shares Video of Quarantine Stretching Routine to Stay Fit

Tennis great Serena Williams knows the importance of keeping fit and shared a video of herself performing stretching routines on Instagram.

The COVID-19-induced lockdown and quarantine measures have led many to stay indoors, but even that is not a reason to stay unfit, with one needing to maintain good fitness levels at all times.

That could be a little bit problematic to some people who may find engaging in workout routines somewhat tiring while locked indoors, but Serena Williams showed just how easy it could be to keep fit even while at home.

The mother of one shared a video of herself performing some stretching routines, which look so easy to do, but can have a good impact on one's fitness.

In the video, Serena Williams stressed the importance of staying fit, adding that some of the exercises she has been doing in this period were about stretching and flexibility. She captioned the post thus:

"Stay home, stay stretching. #PowerRunsInTheFamily @beatsbydre."

Serena and her husband, Alexis Ohanian, have been sharing updates about their activities at home in quarantine with their fans on social media.

Most of their videos have featured their 2-year-old daughter, Olympia, who is always active and is enjoying having her parents all to herself, taking every opportunity she gets to show her creativity.

In the end, she told Olympia that she was beautiful, even with the makeup she did.

In one of the videos shared by Serena, the tennis great was about to share her makeup routine with her fans on her Instagram Story, when her daughter stepped in also to show her routine.

While Serena massaged her skin with her cream, Olympia could be seen in the background doing her own makeup, giving her mother no choice but to say:

"My daughter is actually doing her own makeup, and I'm terrified to see what she's doing."

The proud mother was shocked when she finally got to see the work of her daughter, with the little tot having a mixture of brown and red lipsticks on her face.

Serena later begged her daughter to take it easy with the makeup, because she (Serena) would be the one to clean it off her face. In the end, she told Olympia that she was beautiful, even with the makeup she did; words that the 2-year-old agreed with.

Another post made by Serena showed her cute daughter wearing a lovely purple dress. In that video, the proud mother listed the traits and qualities of her family, tagging them as her "Starting Lineup."

She listed Olympia's favorite hobbies as singing and dancing, adding that the little tot was a fan of the viral song, "Baby Shark."
