Christina Anstead's Completely Renovated Life with Her Husband Ant Anstead — inside the Transformation
Ever since Christina Anstead married her husband Ant, she’s been making big changes in her life. From giving birth to their first child together, to starting her own show, and more.
On September 6, 2019, Christina, 36, welcomes her first child, a son, with her husband Ant, 41. Besides starting their own family, the reality star also launched her own solo HGTV show, “Christina on the Coast.”
Even though the show seems quite similar to “Flip or Flop,” Christina insisted it was "completely different." On the show, she redecorates homes with one particular client in mind.

Designer’s new show
She explained it such: “[I am] designing for other people based on their own style, so it's much more high design and you're getting to know other people in the show." To top that off, the reality star also transformed her new home.
We saved each other
She worked on the four-bedroom, 4,870-square-foot Newport Beach, California home she and Ant purchased together in 2018. The second half of season two of her show will be coming this summer.
Where did Christina meet Ant
In October 2017, the star met and connected with Ant at a hockey game. She confessed to her father after the meeting that she would marry the British star.
Christina’s kids with Tarek
On December 22, 2018, Christina and Ant were married. Before marrying Ant, she was married to Tarek El Moussa whom she shares a daughter Taylor, 9, and son Brayden, 4.
Ant’s children with ex-wife
Despite her divorce from El Moussa, the pair are still working together as co-parents. Ant is also a father to daughter Amelie, 15, and son Archie, 12, with his ex-wife Louise.
Christina’s changed life
Speaking to “People” magazine, the designer said: "It's like my life did a 180," after her initial date with the host of “Wheeler Dealers.” Somehow, everything in her life started falling into place after that date.
Saving each other
Ant credits her for saving his life as he’d also just finalized his own divorce with his ex-wife in July 2017. He said: “I am incredibly grateful to have met her,” however, his wife believes: "We saved each other."
Designer’s hobby
One interesting fact about Christina is that she’s a book worm. She’s a fan of books like "The Girl on the Train," "The Kind Worth Killing," "Luckiest Girl Alive," "The Woman in Cabin 10," "The Dry," "The Nightingale" and "Before I Sleep."
