He then went on to inform the public that he had been approved for a donation of Plasma to other people who have also fallen victim to the novel Coronavirus.
The recovery of the patients who he donates to will be aided by antibodies that are present in Todd's Plasma. The TV star is being very generous and is willing to move forward with the process even though it would cause him some discomfort:
"As much as I hate a needle, folks, I am going to give my plasma because if I can help someone else get better and for it to not…"
Todd also spoke about his experience with COVID-19 during the podcast. The 52-year-old battled with the illness for three weeks before he started feeling better, although he stayed in the hospital for about four days.
The Chrisleys advised everyone to practice social distancing and follow other government recommendations like staying indoors to help control the spread of the virus.
Todd explains that it was quite an ordeal and that he had never felt that sick in his life. He is still not fully recovered from the deadly infection. Mr. Chrisley has learned a big lesson from his time in the hospital, and it was a life-changing experience for him. He said:
"...what matters is health. You can have all the money in the world, but if you don't have your health, you have nothing."
His daughter, Savannah Chrisley, was scared to death while her dad was in the hospital. It was a very tough period for her as she is very close with her dad, and they were not allowed to see him while he was hospitalized.
Savannah was so afraid that she went on her knees to pray to God to save her dad at a point. She also left family photos for him at the hospital so he could be motivated to continue fighting the virus.
Miss Chrisley and her dad have realized that they should bring their loved ones closer and love them more than ever after Todd's infection.
The Chrisleys advised everyone to practice social distancing and follow other government recommendations like staying indoors to help control the spread of the virus.
