Bindi Irwin & Chandler Powell's New Wedding Photos Are Mesmerizing

On Thursday, Bindi Irwin took to social media to release footage of her March Wedding to Chandler Powell. She and her family members also shared more photos from the wedding day.

Taking to Twitter, Bindi revealed that her wedding to Powell, 23, would be featured on a special called “Crikey! It’s The Irwins: Bindi’s Wedding.” The one-hour special will air on Saturday at 8 p.m. ET/PT (7 p.m. CT) on Animal Planet.

It will feature behind-the-scenes moments with Bindi, her husband, and the Irwin family, leading up to the wedding day. The special will delve into the bride’s wedding dress fitting which included her mother, Terri Irwin.

Honoring her late father

Fans will also get to see Bindi's brother, Robert Irwin, 16, walking her down the aisle during her March 25, 2020, wedding. The bride also features during the candle lighting ceremony she did to honor her late father, Steve Irwin.

The post Bindi, 21, shared on Twitter was a short video that showed new images of the conservationist’s wedding. In the caption of her post, she wrote: “We’re sharing every beautiful, challenging & special moment with you during this episode.”

Getting married at the Australia Zoo

The conservationist’s wedding was held at her family’s Australia Zoo on Queensland's Sunshine Coast. So fans should expect to spot the occasional koala, macaw, and a couple of snakes.

New photos shared this week

Some of the photos of the wedding that were released this week show the couple cutting their cake and paying tribute to the late “Crocodile Hunter.” Bindi and her professional wakeboarder husband had planned the wedding for nearly a year.

Bindi had a small ceremony

At the last minute, the pair decided to host a “small ceremony” without guests due to the novel coronavirus pandemic. The couple’s wedding was initially set to happen on April 4, but they moved the date up.

New restrictions on weddings in Australia

Bindi and her husband managed to get married just hours after Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison announced new restrictions on weddings. The new guidelines state that only five people are allowed to attend a wedding amid the worldwide outbreak.
