Bindi Irwin also used the opportunity to show off the unique wedding gift Russell sent her and her husband, Chandler Powell. The actor got the newlyweds a beautiful fig tree.

In the picture, the one-time "Dancing with the Stars" winner and her beau can be seen posing with the Port Jackson Fig Tree, which is native to eastern Australia. The 21-year-old expressed her delight with the gift and shared the picture accompanied with the caption:

"Happy Birthday, @russellcrowe. You'll always be part of our family. Even though we can't see you right now, we're giving the beautiful fig you gifted us a hug..."

The gift from Russell also featured a note from the veteran actor that read, "Presented to Bindi and Chandler to commemorate their wedding. Love from, Russell Crow and family." Russell was a close friend of the late Steve Irwin, up until his tragic death, by a piercing injury to his chest from a stingray barb.

Bindi got married to her husband Powell on March 25 at a very small ceremony held in the Australia zoo. The new social distancing rules set by the Australian authorities due to the Coronavirus meant there were no guests at the wedding.

The gorgeous bride took to her Instagram to share a cute picture of her and her new husband, Chandler Powell, as they shared a kiss on their wedding day. She wrote in the caption:

"Right now, we're encouraging the world to hold onto hope and love, which will carry us forward during this profound time in history."

The new social distancing restrictions in Australia limit the attendance of weddings to just five people, including the couple, the celebrant, and the witnesses.

Despite the apparent setback a few hours to the ceremony, the couple quickly made last-minute adjustments so that the day could go on as planned.

Bindi's mother, Terri, and her younger brother, Robert, attended the wedding. During the ceremony, a candle was lit in memory of her late father, Steve Irwin, making the day even more memorable.
