Brandy Norwood's Daughter Sy'rai Debuts New Single 'At Your Best'
Brandy Norwood's daughter just officially entered the family business as she released a brand new single over the weekend, which pays tribute to an Aaliyah classic.
Brandy Norwood's 17-year-old daughter Sy'rai Smith just released a track called "At Your Best," produced by Brandy's nephew Aaron Smith. The song is a tribute to Aaliyah's 1994 single "At Your Best (You Are Love)."
Brandy was the first to show support to her darling daughter's latest achievement on Instagram, asking fans to check out the new song. She made sure to add that her daughter has an "angelic voice," before letting her daughter know that she loves her.
RELEASING SY'RAI'S DEBUT SINGLE
Through the years, Sy'rai has been showcasing her musical abilities in many ways. However, this is the first time she's released something of her own and it's gotten rave reviews so far with more than 20,000 views and 1,500 likes on YouTube.
The singer's journey towards motherhood was documented on the MTV show "Brandy: Special Delivery."
WELCOMING SY'RAI INTO HER LIFE BACK IN 2002
At 17-years-old, Sy'rai has an exciting career ahead of her, as this is only the beginning of her journey as a singer. Her proud mom Brandy welcomed her to her life back on June 16, 2002, after a short-lived relationship with Robert Smith. Ultimately, they split a year after her birth.
The singer's journey towards motherhood was documented on the MTV show "Brandy: Special Delivery," and since then, Sy'rai has grown up under the spotlight with the rest of the Norwoods.

AN INSEPARABLE MOTHER-AND-DAUGHTER DUO
Despite this, Norwood had no problem bringing her up on her own. The mother-and-daughter duo remains the best of friends, and they have been inseparable through the years.
In fact, many of her fans still remember Sy'rai to be a little girl despite the proud mom sharing pictures of her looking all-grown-up on Instagram. Now that they're in the same industry, fans are eager to see a collaboration between them.
