Beyonce's Daughter Blue Ivy Shows Importance of Handwashing in a PSA Video

Blue Ivy Carter's PSA video about handwashing is proving what an adorable influencer she is. She shared a home experiment to prove how handwashing can fight COVID-19.

Jay-Z and Beyonce’s daughter, Blue Ivy Carter is brimming with talent but in a recent clip shared by her grandmother, Tina Knowles Lawson, she also proves she’s a concerned citizen doing her part to help in the fight against COVID-19.

BLUE'S HOME EXPERIMENT

Blue used her quarantine time wisely by creating a PSA video about hand washing that had fans expressing their admiration for the 8-year-old.

It’s no surprise that Blue is manifesting an interest in promoting social awareness. She has her parents Jay-Z and Beyonce as role models.

The clip featured a short experiment on how handwashing can quickly kill the dreaded virus. Blue, whose face isn’t revealed in the video, encouraged her viewers that they too can do the DIY experiment in their own homes.

To explain her point about handwashing, Blue used a generous amount of pepper submerged in water to represent the virus. Then she dipped her finger lathered with soap into the mixture revealing how the pepper instantly dispersed away from her finger.

"This is why it's very important to wash your hands,” she explains. “Coz if you wash your hands it will stay clean. But if you keep your hands dirty, you might get sick.”

And as parting words, Blue had a sweet message for everyone.

“So peace out. I hope you guys are staying safe. Wash your hands extra and please stay at home. Love you all.”

Tina shared the clip which has earned over 75,000 views to date. She proudly described her granddaughter as “brilliant” when she introduced the clip in her caption.

Fans were quick to comment Blue for her being so smart and articulate in the clip. One fan even wrote, “Blue for President.”
