LL Cool J of 'NCIS: LA' & Simone Smith's 1st Son Najee Shares Uncanny Resemblance with His Father

LL Cool J, has has a beautiful marriage with his wife, Simone Smith, with whom he shares four children; their son Najee and three daughters, Samaria, Nina, and Italia.

Grammy award-winner, LL Cool J, has been married to his beautiful wife, Simone Smith, for 25 years now. The two lovebirds share four kids, Najee, 30, Italia, 29, Samaria, 24, Nina, 19.

LL Cool J's son Najee shares an uncanny resemblance with his father, as seen in his recent post on social media. The 30-year-old took to his Instagram to share a selfie of himself chilling at home, amid the quarantine.

Simone later underwent an invasive surgery and finally overcame the menace in the following years.

Late last year, Najee Smith also shared a photo on his Instagram of a mirror selfie he posed for alongside his mother, Simone, and famous RnB singer Mary J. Blige.

He went ahead to tag the official Instagram account of "Sister Love," a brand co-managed by the two women in the photo. The young man captioned the post,

"New Yorkers."

Back in 2015, young Najee had a run-in with the law after he got arrested at a New York restaurant where he was asked to leave but refused. He was charged for trespassing after an altercation with the worker who tried to escort him out of the eatery.

LL Cool and his wife, Simone, opened up about their marriage in an interview held some years back. The mother of four revealed the secret to her successful union with the rapper to be devotion to their spiritual background and the mutual respect they have towards one another.

The duo have had their share of life challenges, such as a long time battle with cancer. Simone was diagnosed with a rare bone cancer called chondrosarcoma in 2004. She revealed that her marriage came out victorious on the matter.

Her husband, LL Cool J, also spoke about the trying moment in their family and explained the mindset behind his undying support for the mother of his children. He said,

"You don't abandon someone in that foxhole. You gotta be there in that foxhole with them."

Simone later underwent an invasive surgery and finally overcame the menace in the following years. She credited her recovery to the love and prayers she received from her family and loved ones.
