Diana Ross Slams UK 2020 Summer Tour News Calling It Untrue
Diana Ross denies ever announcing a 2020 UK Summer tour, claiming she respects the decisions of world leaders regarding the banning of large gatherings.
Diana Ross decided to address rumors of an upcoming tour on Instagram after a news site published an article about it. The singer wonders where the site got the information, as she never released anything about it.
"I have no idea where they would get this untruth. I am respecting the authorities direction and for the health and safety of everyone, I will not be coming to the UK this summer."

SADDENED OF NOT HAVING CONCERTS THIS YEAR
Ross shares that she is heartbroken that she will not get to perform for her fans this year, but is also supportive of the stay-at-home orders put in place in many countries to protect people from COVID-19.
The iconic singer promised her fans that she'd see them as soon as the circumstances permit, and as soon as promoters schedule new dates.
Back in March, Diana performed to a sold-out audience at the Wilson Center in Wilmington, North Carolina. Due to concerns over COVID-19, she decided to cancel the rest of her tour despite her thousands of excited fans waiting for her performances.
CANCELING THE REST OF HER SCHEDULED SHOWS
Her daughter, Rhonda Ross, confirmed the news on social media, following advice from authorities regarding the dangers of large events. Of course, she assured everyone that once everything is back to normal, they will try their best to reschedule the performances.
"We are heeding warnings from those who have communicated concerns about large events and also heeding warning from health officials. We are always concerned about the safety of our live audiences..."
The iconic singer promised her fans that she'd see them as soon as the circumstances permit, and as soon as promoters schedule new dates. For now, Diana and the rest of the Ross family are doing their part in stopping the spread of the virus, staying home and doing many different activities to keep themselves busy.
