Niecy Nash of 'Claws' Tearfully Explains How She Was Almost Bitten by a Snake in Her Backyard

Famous actress and comedian, Niecy Nash, shed tears while telling her fans about her close shave with death — it reportedly happened in her backyard.

Famous American comedian and actress Niecy Nash reportedly had the scare of her life recently when she encountered a deadly snake in her backyard.

She shared her experience with her fans via a video she posted on Instagram. In the footage, she seemed to be visibly shaken as her eyes glistened with unshed tears.

According to Nash, when she told her "friend," Sherri Shepherd, about the huge snake that almost bit her, the 53-year-old actress asked why she didn't "jump up and run."

Giving reasons why she couldn't do that, Nash confessed that she "weighs too much." The accomplished comedian went on to reveal that since the quarantine started, she's been overeating with no desire to exercise.

As the video progressed, Nash added that even though her life had just been endangered due to her lack of agility, she still could not find it in her to work out or stop overeating.

Fans of the famous comedian who could relate with her predicament took to the comments section with words of encouragement:a fan wrote,

"Girl, I understand. This quarantine has me eating like crazy."

The post comes several days after Nash joined the viral pillow challenge trending on Instagram. The challenge involves finding a pillow to cover your body while striking a pose.

Nash admitted that she dissolved her marriage even though her family members cautioned her against it.

The "Reno 911" star shared two pictures of her wearing nothing but a pink throw pillow with a leather belt holding everything in.

She complimented the getup with a pair of high heels that drew attention to her long and gorgeous legs. In the comments, fans of the magnificent woman used words like "snack" and "stunning" to qualify how she looked.

Nash has been married twice, and she is a mother of three children. She was first married for 13 years, to Don Nash, an ordained minister, before filing for divorce in June 2007.

On September 4, 2010, Niecy Nash got engaged to Jay Tucker. The pair tied the knot on Saturday, May 28, 2011, at the Church Estate Vineyard in Malibu.

The marriage lasted for more than eight years before Nash announced her pending divorce from Tucker on October 30, 2019.

She opened up about how ending her relationship with Tucker affected her in an emotional speech at Essence's Black Women in Hollywood event.

During the emotional speech, the actress admitted that she dissolved her marriage even though her family and the society frowned against it. Nash stated,

"The untethering from my family's beliefs, the internet's expectations, and my marriage ending caused me so much pain."

Nash's divorce from Tucker was finalized on March 10, 2020, and she's now a proud and single mother who appears to be focused on her career and her kids.
