Martin Lawrence's Ex-wife Shamicka Gibbs Shares Old Vacation Photos with Their Daughter Iyanna

Shamicka Gibbs posts amazing fbf vacation pictures taken during a mother-daughter trip with her "beautiful girl" Iyanna back in 2019.

Bonding between parents and their kids is essential, and it becomes even more so when the parents become separated. Shamicka Gibbs and her daughter Iyanna seem to be having lots of bonding time even after her split with Iyanna's dad, Martin Lawrence.

Last year, Shamicka took her daughter on a fantastic trip to Paris and Croatia. The duo took lots of breathtaking photos, which Gibbs recently posted on her Instagram page.

The snapshots show the duo striking different poses with a variety of beautiful backgrounds such as the Eiffel Tower. The post was captioned:

"Remembering the beautiful mother-daughter Paris/Croatia trip that we took around this time last year with my beautiful girl…"

Gibbs has two daughters with her ex, star Actor Martin Lawrence who she split from back in 2012. The couple had been together for seventeen years at the time.

The Bad Boys star was married to the Miss Virginia USA winner, Patricia Southall before he tied the knot with Shamicka.

Although they were together for a long time, the mother of two was only married to Martin for two years. Shamicka and Martin got married within the confines of their Beverly Hills home on the 10th of July 2010. The two released a statement that showed that the decision to part ways was mutual:

"Out of love and respect for one another, we will continue to remain friends and raise our two beautiful daughters together."

Shamicka and her ex seem to have followed through with their decision to be cordial co-parents as the two recently came together to send their teenage daughter Iyanna off to college.

The former couple helped their daughter move into a dorm room at Sarah Lawrence College. The 18-year-old decided to pursue creative writing at the college last August. The institution is well known for its literary program.

Iyanna's mom described the day as one of the hardest ones in her entire life. Her parents are very proud of how far she has come. It is not clear whether Shamicka has moved on or not after so many years, but Martin has.

He is currently engaged to Roberta Moradfar. If the two end up married, it would be Martin's third marriage. The "Bad Boys" star was married to the Miss Virginia USA winner, Patricia Southall before he tied the knot with Shamicka. They share a daughter, Jasmine Page.
