According to a report, Katherine Schwarzenegger and Chris Pratt couldn't be more excited over the baby news. In a few months, their first child together is expected to arrive.
"They are completely thrilled to be starting a family. Family is everything to them and it's a very exciting time," an insider told E! News recently. "The baby is due early fall. Katherine shared the news with her family very early on."
The insider added that Katherine couldn't keep her baby news a secret from her mother, Maria Shriver, who's also happy with the news and can hardly wait to be a grandmother.
Katherine enjoys surrounding herself with children and babies all the time, including Chris' son, Jack, from his previous relationship with Anna Faris.
"She always dotes on her friends kids and, of course, her stepson Jack," the source explained. "She is gentle, loving and caring. She has such motherly instincts and loves to take care of everyone already."
Katherine and Chris got married on June 8 of last year during an intimate ceremony in Montecito, California, as reported by PEOPLE.
As of late, Katherine's book "The Gift of Forgiveness" made the New York Times Best Sellers list for one month in a row. Since March, she has been on a book tour.
