Despite the show being over, the two have kept not just physical on-set items, but good memories of filming the show.

REMEMBERING THE SHOW

When asked what her best memory of the show she kept with her, Guy revealed it was when she first met Denzel Washington.

“Right [when] the girls [were] coming to tap me on the shoulder, it was the real Denzel. I freaked out! I thought I was seeing a ghost," she shared.

Although the two celebrities played on-screen lovers, Hardison was, at that time, dating Cree Summer while Guy was in a relationship with Dominic Hoffman.

The actors were present to award the school a $100,000 scholarship donation, which they won from the company.

The actor described having romantic interests on-screen and in real life as having a “work wife and home wife,” which didn’t interfere with their professional career.

REUNITING AFTER YEARS

In 2016, Hardison and Guy reunited on air on the three-story-arc “KC Undercover,” which stars Zendaya. The actor was thrilled to work with Guy again at that time because of the feeling of being comfortable hee had around her.

The “A Different World” cast had a short reunion in 2018 as they visited Ford’s Ultimate Homecoming Takeover event at Southwestern Christian College.

The actors were present to award the school a $100,000 scholarship donation, which they won from the company.

The show was a massive success after it first premiered in 1988 and featured colored students who discussed pressing issues such as race and equality.
