Vanessa Williams Wishes Daughter Sasha Happy 20th Birthday with Throwback Photos

Vanessa Williams celebrated her daughter, Sasha Fox, on her 20th birthday by sharing some old pictures which showed that the young model has looked like her mother since she was little.

In a recent Instagram post, Vanessa Williams celebrated her daughter, Sasha Fox's birthday by sharing a series of old pictures which showed the resemblance between mother and daughter.

The first picture of the series had Sasha dressed in a wonder woman costume, while she flashed an adorable smile at the camera.

The post further included nine more photos of her at different stages in her life. One of the pictures that stood out featured young Sasha wearing an Indian inspired outfit while she and her mother struck similar poses.

Captioning the post, Vanessa referred to her daughter as a "Wonder Woman," while disclosing that Sasha was always curious. She continued and added:

"Keep growing, asking questions, and never stop your quest for knowledge and adventure. We adore you?❤️."

The singer’s followers flooded the comment section of the post with several birthday wishes and heart emojis.

While one user commented, "Happy Birthday to your beautiful baby!" another user wished Sasha a happy birthday while urging her to love unconditionally and laugh often.

Williams is currently married to Jim Skrip, whom she revealed to have met during one of her frequent trips to Egypt.

Vanessa welcomed Sasha in 1999 during her marriage to her second husband, Rick Fox. The couple tied the knot in the same year they welcomed their first child together.

In 2004, Rick, who formerly played for the Los Angeles Lakers, filed for divorce from Williams. While speaking about the split, Staci Wolfe — Rick's spokesman at the time — said:

"They are both extremely devoted parents, so the most important thing to them right now is the welfare of their child."

Before her marriage to Rick, Vanessa had been formerly married to Ramon Hervey, with whom she had three kids. In a 2019 interview, the former beauty queen spoke about her marriage experiences over time.

During the interview, Williams explained that her first marriage crashed due to the pressure of having to balance her professional life and her family life.

Williams also revealed that there had been problems of infidelity in the marriage. According to her, she put up with it until she couldn't anymore.
