Brandy's new song gives credit to all "baby mamas," and she's made sure to continue giving them shoutouts on social media. This time, she let them know that they all deserve crowns for "holding it down" amid everything happening.

After delaying it for a month, Brandy recently released her newest single "Baby Mama," featuring Chance the Rapper. It's her first release since "Freedom Rings," which she dropped last year.

A TRIBUTE TO MOMS

Brandy revealed that the song was dedicated to all the moms who have done so much for their families, doing their best for their children.

"It's celebrating mothers out there who are doing their best for their children and striving in their independence, in their strength, in their power.

BRAND NEW MUSIC

The song is a preview of what fans can expect from her seventh studio album, something that she's been spending a lot of time working on. This new album would be her first full-length release since "Two Eleven" in 2012.

Just like Brandy, her daughter Sy'rai is venturing into the music industry at well, releasing her own single called "At Your Best," which is a tribute to Aaliyah's 1994 single "At Your Best (You Are Love)."

Brandy has had no problem bringing Sy'rai up on her own. In fact, they are the best of friends and this has been proven many times.

A GREAT MOTHER-AND-DAUGHTER RELATIONSHIP

While Sy'rai has always showcased her talent through the years, this is the first time she's released something of her own, and her mom couldn't be any prouder. She had her daughter on June 16, 2002, after a short-lived relationship with Robert Smith.

While they split after her birth, Brandy has had no problem bringing Sy'rai up on her own. In fact, they are the best of friends and this has been proven many times.
