Michael Jordan's Daughter Jasmine and Her Fiancé Celebrate Their Son's 1st Birthday
Michael Jordan's daughter, Jasmine Jordan and her fiancé Rakeem Christmas celebrated their son's first birthday with a custom portrait inspired by the Air Jordan sneaker.
Jasmine Jordan shared a candid post about her journey through motherhood as she celebrated her son turning a year old. In a lengthy message, she gushed:
"Becoming YOUR mother has been beyond fulfilling. You came into my world and turned it upside down. I was so scared when I first laid eyes on you."
In honor her father, Michael Jordan's multi-billion-dollar brand, Air Jordan, Jasmine shared a cartoon image of her son sitting in a giant sneaker.
In her birthday tribute, she spoke candidly about her fears in becoming a mother and admitted, "I questioned whether or not I'd be enough for you."
She ended her sweet tribute on a reassuring note that she was wrong about all her fears because of how much she couldn't seem to get enough of her baby and how she realized that she needed him in her life.
Jasmine's fiancé, Rakeem Christmas, reposted the same image and reflected on how much time has flown by since welcoming their son. Actress Holly Robinson Peete shared the same sentiments and expressed her surprise that the couple's child was already a year old.

Just like her father, Jasmine prefers to live a relatively private life. It is
she did not initially announce her son's name but referred to him as "RMC" during her lavish baby shower displays.
Speculation was later confirmed that her son was given Rakeem and grandfather's name, and his name is Rakeem Michael Christmas. In a caption at her baby shower, she hinted at the name writing, "The R & The M to my baby RMC."
Jasmine and Rakeem's son is the first grandchild for Michael. In an interview with "Today," he expressed his joy in becoming a grandfather and said:
"It's fun because I can actually hold him and play with him and I'm having fun watching him."
Jasmine and Rakeem have kept themselves involved with the family business. Jasmine, who studied sports management, works as a field representative for the Jordan Brand.
Rakeem is professional basketball. The couple has not revealed if they hope that their son will work with the family brand, but if his birthday portrait is any indication of his future, RMC is the perfect fit.
