'Empire' Star Trai Byers' Wife Grace Reflects on Life before COVID-19 Pandemic

"Empire" actor Trai Byers' spouse, Grace, got nostalgic in a recent post as she went down memory lane on social activities before the ongoing global health pandemic.

Grace Byers was thoughtful in a new Instagram post where she ruminated on all the simple times when going "outside" was a basic activity.

The "Empire" actress complemented her post with a lovely photo of her and her fellow star hubby simply enjoying a throwback moment of being outdoors.

OUTDOOR MEMORIES

In the snapshot she shared, Grace and her spouse, Trai Byers, both had ice cream cones as they sweetly cozied up for a selfie. The outdoor scenery added more charm to the Hollywood duo, making them look more radiant. The actress captioned:

"So interesting when you think of all the things you used to do outside. At the moment, they seem like easy moments of joy…"

Trai's wife went on to talk about the easy access to getting something as basic as an "icecream cone" and being able to go get it "the next day too." She proceeded to contrast the present health situation, which restricts outdoor movement and the realization that "it isn't that small at all."

FANS' REACTIONS

The "Rent" star concluded her caption as she talked about anticipating the "small moments" where everyone can go out again. Grace might have, as well, spoken her fans' wishes as they trooped to the comments and agreed with her.

Back in 2015, the two started dating shortly after meeting on the set of Fox's "Empire."

One fan admitted, "I really felt that. I hope we all get to enjoy the small moments and appreciate them very soon." Other fans took the opportunity to express their affection for the star couple.

LOVE TIMELINE

Grace and Trai's love life was literally cut out of "Empire!" Maybe not from a scene in the blockbuster series but definitely behind the scenes. In 2016, the duo said their wedding vows in a private ceremony on Grand Cayman Island.

The then-new bride announced it to fans and also showed her appreciation for well-wishers. An E! source made it known that some "Empire" cast members were present at the ceremony. According to TMZ, the number of attendees was estimated at around 50 people.

FINDING LOVE ON EMPIRE

Once talking about her relationship with the "Andre Lyon" actor, Grace shared that she wasn't a fan of being romantically involved with a colleague.

However, the actress believed that "if you do get involved at your workplace, you have to know that this is something that you want to be invested in…"

Back in 2015, the two started dating shortly after meeting on the set of Fox's "Empire." A source shared that the two were quite affectionate to each other but kept it modest.

In the drama series, Grace played "Anika Calhoun," the ex-wife of Lucious Lyon. Lucious was the father of "Andre Lyon," played by Grace's hubby, Trai Byers.
