Kelly Clarkson Talks about Son Remy's Progress with Speech Therapy Following Hearing Issues
"The Voice" coach Kelly Clarkson and her husband, Brandon Blackstock, have been "working hard" with their son, Remy Alexander's speech, and it looks like it is paying off.
Raising children is not easy for most parents, but they usually try their hardest, so when they find out their child has an issue after so much effort, it can be rather devastating.
Kelly Clarkson and her husband were not happy when they found out that their second child, Remy, had hearing issues when he was younger.

The little one's ears had been clogged by a large amount of wax, and while that seems like an easy problem to fix, the fact that it was not discovered earlier led to a bigger issue — speech problems.
His parents got him speech therapy, and now things are looking up. The 4-year-old still has his therapy sessions virtually. Kelly shared Remy's most recent achievement in this aspect during an interview with People:
"...The big milestone for us is Remy getting to find out his personality and his identity because it's been frustrating..."
The couple welcomed Remy Alexander Blackstock on the 12th of April 2016. Kelly took to Twitter to announce the birth of her son. She was already a mom to her daughter, River Rose, who would love to sing just like her mom.
The 5-year-old is aware of her mom's fame, unlike her brother. Remy is usually around Kelly, but he does not know that she is famous. To the 4-year-old, she is just "mom."
River Rose is more informed. The 5-year-old also has other interest apart from singing which her mum revealed while she was on the set of Hollywood Game Night:
"Our little girl loves dancing and gymnastics. She wants to dance, that's her big thing, she wants to sing like mommy."
Apart from being a mom and singer, Clarkson is also a giver. The edition of "Hollywood Game Night," which she was on, is being used for fundraising to help underprivileged kids.
The mom of two is a big fan of the cause because, just like these kids, she and her husband were not born with a silver spoon.
While it is a great blessing for the couple to provide everything for their children, they also want them to know that not everyone is as lucky as they are.
