Beyoncé and Mom Tina Knowles Lawson Offer Free COVID-19 Testing in Houston
Beyonce is teaming up with her star mom, Tina Knowles-Lawson, ahead of Mother's Day to provide COVID-19 relief materials and test kits in Houston, Texas.
Music icon Beyonce Knowles-Carter and her mom, Tina Knowles-Lawson, are playing their part in seeing to the end of the novel coronavirus.
The famous duo was recently in the news concerning the BeyGood charity initiative, which launched a provision for the novel coronavirus relief.

BATTLING COVID-19
The initiative called "I Did My Part in Houston This Weekend" was designated to encourage citizens in vulnerable neighborhoods to get tested for the viral infection.
On CBS News, Lawson-Knowles made a special appearance to talk on what the campaign entails. The socialite began:
"... Houston has the lowest rate of testing in the country, ...we just want to bring awareness that this testing already exists in Houston…"
Tina emphasized that they weren't taking the testing to Houston; instead, they were working towards getting people to come.out and get tested. For her, everybody has to do their part.
In conjunction with her charismatic daughter, the public figure teamed up with Procter & Gamble and some other companies for a "celebration of testing."

The humanitarian action also includes side attractions for people who show up for tests. After getting tested, citizens are to receive relief materials, vitamins, and household essentials. Vouchers and grocery gift cards are also part of the side attractions.
The 66-year-old recalled when Knowles-Carter had called her a "hot mom."
The test will be divided into two locations. The first set of 500 tests will hold at Cullen Middle School, while the other 500 examinations will be conducted at Forest Brook Middle School.
In a press release, Knowles-Lawson said: "It is critical that we stay vigilant with social distancing, wearing a mask, and most of all getting tested…"
TINA ON THE "SAVAGE" REMIX
Fans were elated after finding out that the "Lemonade" crooner was going to feature in Megan Thee Stallion's "Savage" remix. It was more exhilarating after the song's release, and Beyonce shouted out her mom!
The "Irreplaceable" star specifically admirably mentioned her mom, and this got Tina's friends hollering her up. The businesswoman made this known in an interview with Entertainment Tonight.
