Boris Kodjoe Pays Tribute to Wife Nicole Ari Parker with a Sweet Mother's Day Post

American actor Boris Kodjoe appreciates his wife and mother of their two kids, Sophie and Nico, as she hits 15 years of motherhood.

Moms were celebrated in different ways during the just concluded Mother's Day, and Boris Kodjoe's wife Nicole Ari Parker was not left out. Nicole shared a hilarious video of herself on Instagram. She rocked a short yellow dress and sunglasses.

The mother of two was all set to leave when her daughter asked her where she was going to. Nicole revealed where she was going, but her kids' reactions had her going back up the stairs.

Nicole's other half also took to Instagram to pay tribute to his wife, appreciating her impact in the life of their kids. The tribute which was shared alongside a photo of the duo read:

"...❤️Thank you for teaching Nico about depth and compassion, and for showing Sophie her superpowers..."

The parents of two have been married 15 years and still seem to be going strong. The duo's relationship was seen as a cliché one as they met on the set of "Soul Food," in which they were cast as lovers.

The two refused to get together until they were urged on by the entire crew of "Soul food." After dating for some time, Nicole and Boris tied the knot in Germany with a ceremony the actress described as "perfect."

Among the problems, the duo has faced a few accusations of infidelity.

They had initially intended to get married in Los Angeles, but things were getting a little out of hand. Nicole shared these details during an interview with her husband on a talk show:

"I always wanted a fairy-tale wedding, and where he's from, it's like a storybook. A mountain town in the Black Forest…"

The two have worked together on another show since they got married — "The Boris and Nicole Show." The show looked into their lives and displayed their strong relationship along with its challenges.

Among the problems, the duo has faced a few accusations of infidelity. This includes the time when Wendy Williams asked Nicole if the rumor about her husband sleeping with Gabrielle Union was true.

Apart from some rare occasions, the couple has wholly avoided cheating scandals. One of their secrets to the long-lasting union is to "keep the sexy alive."
