Fantasia Barrino's Husband Kendall Taylor and Their Kids Made Mother's Day Special for Her

“American Idol” alum, Fantasia Barrino gets special treatment from husband and children on mother’s day.

Fantasia Barrino shared with her 4.1m Instagram followers how her mother’s day celebration went.

The singer posted a slideshow of videos showing all the beautiful things her husband and children did to make her feel special in commemoration of the day. From her caption, it was apparent Fantasia was blown away by the immense outpouring of love from her family.

The 35-year-old singer revealed that she had not been feeling her best, and all the dotting and care from her husband made her whole day. She further praised his cooking skills as he made breakfast for her and thanked him for her flowers.

Barrino and her husband, Kendall, are quite famous for their show of romance through surprises. In 2018, they made headlines with their 4th wedding anniversary celebration. The couple had each planned a surprise for the other to commemorate their wedding anniversary.

Essence reports that the “American Idol” Season 3 winner wrote a song for her beau and sang to him, which is something she never does, according to Kendall.

The song was a special dedication to the fond moments the duo have shared since the beginning of their relationship.

Kendall, on the other hand, gifted Fantasia with several cards and a surprise road trip. According to Essence, the singer had uploaded a video of her trying to get her husband to disclose where they were headed.

Barrino’s journey as a mother began quite early. She is a mother to son Dallas Xavier Barrino who, according to CNN, was born in 2011 at Presbyterian Hospital in North Carolina. She also has an 18-year-old daughter, Zion, who Essence shares she gave birth to as a teenager.

Her husband, Kendall, is also a father to a young man, Trey, who also has children of his own making the couple grandparents. Earlier this year, the grandparents had announced the birth of their second grandson via Instagram.

According to Essence, the R&B singer’s husband expressed his excitement at becoming a grandfather with an emotional message about him living a purposeful life in exchange for the gift of his grandson.

Essence adds that the couple in a recent Instagram video shared that being parents and grandparents have helped them learn to manage family and business properly.
