Michael Jordan's Grandson Rakeem Stands on His Own Just 1 Week after His 1st Birthday

Michael Jordan’s grandson storms the internet in an adorable clip that his parents, Jasmine Jordan and Rakeem Christmas, shared on Instagram a week after he turned one.

Former Syracuse Orange basketball star Rakeem Christmas took to his Instagram story to share an adorable gif of his one-year-old son standing in a cute blue onesie. His partner, Jasmine Jordan, posted a screenshot of Rakeem’s story on her story and wrote:

“I love you.”

The adorable tot was dressed in a cute printed blue onesie, and he was seen watching the television, which was showing an intriguing kid’s show. He was also surrounded by colorful toys.

On May 5, just a week before the cute clip was posted, Jasmine and Rakeem took to Instagram to celebrate their son’s first birthday.

The birthday boy’s parents had shared the same sweet cartoon depiction of their son, which featured a cartoon rendition of him sitting inside a Nike sneaker and expressed how much they adored him with adorable captions.

Christmas and Jordan first revealed that they were engaged in 2018.

In May 2019, the proud parents welcomed their first son together. The little boy was born into athletic greatness, being the grandson of the legendary pro basketball player, Michael Jordan, and the son of another great basketball player, Christmas.

Rakeem was so excited to be a father that he took to Instagram to share the good news of his son’s birth, which was coincidentally close to Mother’s day. Captioning his post, the twenty-eight-year-old athlete wrote:

“I don’t know what I did to deserve you and our awesome kid, Happy 1st Mothers Day!”

Rakeem’s post was a photo of their baby boy’s hand wrapped around Jasmine’s finger. She also took to Instagram to celebrate her son’s arrival.

Michael Jordan, who is often referred to as one of the greatest basketball players of all time, became a grandfather at the age of fifty-six.

Christmas and Jordan first revealed that they were engaged in 2018. Jasmine posted a series of pictures on her Twitter account, showing the exact moment that Rakem popped the question.

The pair first met while attending Syracuse University together, where Jasmine studied Sports Management, and Christmas was on the school’s team.

Being the daughter of the legendary athlete definitely had its perks, but Jasmine admitted that finding true relationships made the experience worthwhile. She and her adorable family of three seem to be very happy together.
