HUSBAND WANTED TO CONTROL HER
The Row was founded by the twins as they wanted the perfect white T-shirt. The brand isn’t made for just anyone with very few items available for less than $1,000.
The insider explained the divorce filing stating: "She's super career-focused and he's very French and wanted her to be more available." The source added: "You can't control a girl who has been on the billionaire track since her 20s."
THE OLSEN’S BUSINESSES
In 2018, the two child stars, which were thrust into the limelight at 9-months, opened up to “WWD” about their successful business ventures. The pair revealed how their detail-oriented approach kept their partnership strong.
The Olsen sisters explained how they wanted all their items to be “perfect” before hitting stands. Ashley also shared that they were “not product pushers.”
MARY-KATE’S DIVORCE
On April 17, 2020, Olsen reportedly signed a petition to divorce the French banker. However, due to the novel coronavirus pandemic, New York courts haven't been accepting divorce filings unless it’s an emergency.
BEING KICKED OUT OF APARTMENT
The actress’s attorneys allegedly received an email from Sarkozy's lawyers notifying her that she needed to move out of the couple's New York apartment by May 18, 2020. Olsen has apparently asked her husband to extend the deadline to May 30, 2020.
WORKING AS SISTERS
In August 2018, the twins spoke about their working relationship while being interviewed by “WSJ.”At the time, the duo was launching their first menswear line by the luxury fashion brand, The Row.
DOING EVERYTHING TOGETHER
Ashley confessed to the publication: “We do everything together.” Her sister added: “We came out of the womb doing that.”
CHALLENGES OF WORKING TOGETHER
The sisters also described their relationship as “a marriage and a partnership.” However, they also admitted to having “ups and downs,” as they continue learning how to communicate.
