Diana Ross' Son Evan and His Wife Ashlee Reveal Gender of Their New Baby

Evan Ross and Ashlee Simpson, together with their children, revealed their unborn baby's gender with a cake-cutting moment at home.

Diana Ross will be gaining another grandson soon. Her son, Evan Ross, and his wife, Ashlee Simpson shared the good news by cutting a cake and revealing their unborn baby’s gender.

A clip of Evan’s family-of-four graced his Instagram a few days back. Together with his pregnant wife, Ashlee, stepson, Bronx Wentz, 11, and the couple’s daughter, Jagger Snow Ross, 4, Evan learned their baby’s gender.

The baby will be the couple’s second child together and Ashlee’s third.

A cake with pink and blue decorations was the object of interest as the family joined hands to slice it in half. To Evan’s delight, it revealed blue sprinkles inside.

“SO STOKED 2 MEET MY BABY BOY,” he wrote to caption the clip. He also shared that one of his family members wasn’t too delighted to welcome a baby brother.

“As you can tell Jagger wanted a sis.”

Jagger didn’t clap with the rest of them when she saw blue. Thus, Ashlee carried her as she was driven to tears out of disappointment.

It has always been Evan and Ashlee’s dream to have a big family according to a source for People. This may be why they were so excited to announce Ashley’s pregnancy last month. Now three years married, the couple proudly revealed the results of Ashlee’s pregnancy test in separate posts.

The baby will be the couple’s second child together and Ashlee’s third. Bronx is her son with her former husband, Pete Wentz with whom she shares custody.

Wentz revealed in 2018 that he has a pleasant co-parenting relationship with Ashlee and Evan.

“I have to say, I have really good co-parents to deal with. [Ashlee and Evan] are both communicative and easy-going.”

He also said that Bronx had been accustomed to this set-up because he was still very young when his parents split.

Pete married Ashlee in May 2008. Months later, Bronx was born. By November 2011, they were filing for divorce.

Three years later, Ashlee married Evan. The ceremony was personally officiated by Evan’s mother, Diana Ross who also sang for the couple during the celebration held in her estate.
