Hagen Mills of 'Baskets' Dies in Attempted Murder-Suicide after Attacking His Baby Mama
Basket's Actor Hagen Mills dies after shooting his child's mother and turning the gun on himself just days after being released from jail.
The incident which occurred at Erica's South 10th residence in Mayfield Kentucky was a saddening one as Hagen had waited for Erica to return from work while holding his daughter Mila and Erica's mother in the house before her return.
In a Facebook post by the Mayfield Police Department, it was explained that Hagen had waited for Erica to come home and shot at her before turning the gun on himself.

Although his daughter and the grandmother were safe, Erica suffered gunshot wounds to the chest and arm. She was able to escape and called the police, who arrived at the scene and met her outside.
As soon as the police arrived, Erica was rushed to the hospital while Hagen was pronounced dead on the crime scene. Thankfully, his daughter and Erica's mother were safe and had no physical injuries even though they had been in the house with Hagen.
After the police shared the report, people took to the comments section to share their thoughts and grievances on the matter, with most stating that Hagen should not have been released.
Hagen was recently released on bond following the kidnap and rape of a lady at his residence. He had struck her with a gun and forced her into his apartment before having his way with her.
The Lady managed to escape when Hagen was asleep and reported to the local hospital for examination, after which Hagen was arrested and charged.
Prison officials revealed to Daily Mail that Hagen had been released on the 8th of May on a $500,000 property bond and ten thousand dollar surety.
Erica Price and Hagen Mills started dating sometime in 2012, and four years later, they welcomed their daughter Mila. The reason for their separation is, however, unknown.
Born and raised in Kentucky before moving to Los Angeles, Hagen began acting in short films and received a level of popularity when he starred in "Baskets."
Following the incident, a GoFundMe account has been opened for Erica to help pay the hospital bills and take care of her medical treatments.
