Kim Fields' Sister Alexis Is a Proud Mom of Daughter Who Recently Graduated from 6th Grade

Kim Fields' sister, Alexis Fields shared her joy upon learning that her daughter, Kaycie not only graduated from Grade 6 but was featured during the ceremony in a very special way.

Kim Fields’ niece made her mom, Alexis Fields proud as she graduated from 6th grade with the special distinction of delivering a speech that day.

ALL THE PLACES SHE'LL GO

Alexis took to her Instagram to rave about her daughter, Kaycie’s accomplishment by sharing a clip of the lovely teen speaking about graduating.

The actress further shared her joy upon learning that the speech was selected and featured in her daughter’s 6th-grade graduation ceremony.

In the clip, Kaycie reflects on their school’s graduation theme, “All The Places You’ll Go.” She quotes Michelle Obama to drive to her point that the journey is more important than the destination.

A TEAM EFFORT

A prolific and confident speaker, Kaycie spoke from her heart in the excerpt her mother shared. Alexis explained in her caption that she helped film the speech which Kaycie wrote.

“We set up her computer under her iPad and I scrolled like a teleprompter while she read it.”

PROUD MOMMY MOMENT

The actress further shared her joy upon learning that the speech was selected and featured in her daughter’s 6th-grade graduation ceremony. She wrote,

“She worked so hard. There was a moment when she wanted to give up, but she didn’t. And I couldn’t be more proud. Oh, the places you’ll go, Kaycie. But where you are, right now, is amazing!!!!

Kaycie is one of two children Alexis shares with her husband, Kevin Jackson. The daughter of actress Chip Fields and sister of “Living Single” alum, Kim, Alexis is an actress too who started off as a child star.

Her early appearances included “Keanan and Kel,” “Moesha,” and “Sister, Sister.” She last appeared in the show, “All American” in 2018.

DESIGN GURU

While Kim branched out to music and directing, Alexis ventured into interior design to augment her acting career. In fact, she teamed up with her former co-star, Tamera Mowry-Housley when they worked on the famous twin’s wine tasting room in her home in Napa Valley.

Alexis raved about their partnership in a post featuring the unveiling of their project last year. She thanked Tamera for being her supportive “design twin” and for trusting her with the project.

It was Alexis’ first time to design a wine tasting room and she admitted she had a lot of fun. Tamera was proud of what Alexis had done and shared in a clip during the unveiling that Alexis successfully delivered the warmth and homey feel she wanted for that space.
