Ryan Seacrest Goes Hiking in LA to Celebrate Memorial Day

TV personality Ryan Seacrest has spent the past three months cooked up at home in self-isolation, but on Memorial day, he took a much-needed break with a solo hike in LA.

Over the weekend, Americans celebrated Memorial Day, and several celebrities took to their social media accounts to celebrate the day in their unique way.

With most people currently in self-isolation, celebrations had to take another dimension and talk show host Ryan Seacrest who has been following the self-isolating guidelines, spent the day out on a solo hike in LA.

Ryan took to his Instagram page to post a picture of him out in the sun, taking a solo hike on the hills of Los Angeles. The post has since garnered several reactions, with many of his fans happy to see him out and about.

In the picture, the "Live With Kelly and Ryan" co-host is hardly recognizable as most of his face is covered with a face mask, dark sunglasses, and a black face cap. Ryan shared the photo alongside the caption:

"A breath of fresh air.... even from behind a mask. Happy Memorial Day Weekend!"

Despite the novel Coronavirus pandemic, Ryan has continued to work from home, virtually hosting a plethora of shows, which include "American Idol," "Live With Kelly and Ryan," "Disney Family Singalong," and "On Air with Ryan Seacrest."

On May 18, Ryan's rep told People that the on-air personality was suffering from exhaustion due to his busy work schedule after he missed the day's episode of "Live With Kelly and Ryan."

Ryan Seacrest was once again missing on the show on Memorial Day, but Mark Consuelos filled in for him, while the show's fans continue to worry about the actual state of Ryan's health.

Meanwhile, Kelly Ripa and her husband Consuelos have been recording the show from the Island of Mustique. Kelly and her family go there on vacation every year, but this time they got "caught" in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. Speaking on the situation, Kelly said:

"...the entire world changed, really. I mean, everything shut down. The government shut down, our country shut down. I hate to use the word stuck, but we were."

Kelly also revealed that she and Ryan decided to go on with the show despite the novel Coronavirus outbreak because they thought feeling the normalcy of what they usually do would be the best thing for them in this challenging period.

Meanwhile, Ryan Seacrest left fans worried about his health during the American Idol finale when he slurred his words during the broadcast.

The multi-talented entertainer also appeared to be having difficulty focusing, but his rep allayed the fears of fans when they claimed Ryan was suffering from exhaustion.

Fans of the talk show host were delighted to see him up and about during his solo hike, but his recent on-air absence on Memorial day has once again raised concerns.
