Beauty Queen Jayne Kennedy celebrated her 35th anniversary with her husband, Bill Overton, with a touching tribute, in which she shared rarely seen family photos.

In 1970, pageant hopeful, Jayne Kennedy, made history when she was crowned Miss Ohio USA. The achievement made her the first African-American woman to win the pageant title.

Her fame put her on the covers of magazines. At the height of her career, she mingled with everyone from Stevie Wonder, Muhammed Ali, to Smokey Robinson.

However, her greatest achievement, which she shared recently, was her 35-year marriage to her husband, Bill Overton.

In a loving tribute on their wedding anniversary, she admitted, "hard to believe it’s been 35 YEARS. But those years have been the absolute best."

In her post, Jayne shared rarely seen family photos, photos from events, and magazine covers that she and Bill appeared on together.

According to IMDb, Jayne met Bill in 1977 on the set of "Cover Girls," which she played a small part in the movie. The couple married three years after she divorced her second husband, Leon Isaac Kennedy, in 1982.

During an interview with Ebony, she admitted to finally finding happiness when she married Bill and had their first child after years of struggling to conceive in her previous marriage.

In exclusive about motherhood with JET, she revealed that she is not wasn't going to push their eldest daughter Savannah to be in show business.

The pageant queen explained that she and Bill had decided that they wanted their daughter to choose her own passions in life, instead of them dictating Savannah's career for her.
