Robin Roberts' Girlfriend Amber Laign and Their Dog Take Nap in a Sweet Video

"Good Morning America" anchor Robin Roberts recently shared a cute video of her longtime girlfriend, Amber Laign, sleeping, while describing her as her "Wednesday Warrior."

Amidst the ongoing global health crisis, several television shows and talk shows switched to a virtual broadcast, which is often aired from hosts' or anchor's homes.

TV show "Good Morning America," which was broadcast in the ABC studios before the novel Coronavirus pandemic, is one of the programs that has adjusted to a remote broadcast with anchor Robin Roberts turning her home into a makeshift studio.

The newscaster recently took to her Instagram to share a short video of her longtime partner Amber Laign tucked under the sheets and sleeping in the early hours of the morning.

In the video, Roberts can be seen looking into the camera with a finger against her lips "hushing" before turning the camera to capture Amber in bed along with their dog, Lukas. She shared the video alongside the caption:

"These wicked early hours are getting to my fabu home studio crew...I'm still giving sweet Amber & @lil_man_lukas an A+ for effort..."

Roberts was already dressed for her live broadcast in the video, and she later revealed that Amber and Lukas have helped get her makeshift studio ready.

The TV personality is currently self-isolating with her partner Amber Laign, 45, and their pet dog Lukas. The duo was set up on a blind date by a mutual friend and had been dating since 2005.

Roberts informed her fans that she had made an early exit from "GMA" to fly out to Clayton California to be with Amber for the memorial service.

Back in December 2013, Roberts opened up about her sexual orientation for the first time in a Facebook post. Later in 2014, the "GMA" anchor made an appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," where she opened up about her relationship with Amber, and coming out as gay.

Roberts also revealed how Amber stayed by her side when she was diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome, which she describes as the hardest time of her life. In her words:

"She's very, very supportive, and she's been right there beside me every step of the way..."

Earlier in the year, Robin's partner Amber Laign lost her father. Robert took to her Instagram to share the news with her fans, who flooded her comment sections with an outpour of support.

A few days later, Roberts informed her fans that she had made an early exit from "GMA" to fly out to Clayton California to be with Amber for the memorial service.

Roberts' longtime partner Amber Laign is a licensed massage therapist, and unlike her TV anchor boo, she is notoriously private, preferring to stay out of the spotlight.

The veteran journalist is no longer hiding her partner and proudly shares the beautiful moments in their lives with her fans.
