The tragic death of George Floyd, who was held down by a Minneapolis police officer that had his knee against his neck until he couldn't breathe, has gotten reactions from celebrities across the country.

NBA superstar, LeBron James shared his outrage and posted a photo of the incident next to an image of former NFL player Colin Kaepernick. He wrote, "do you understand NOW!!??!!?? Or is it still blurred to you??"

The photo he posted was the infamous pose from when Kaepernick still played for the San Francisco 49ers and took a knee during the national anthem to raise awareness for racial injustice and police brutality.

"Knowing my brother is to love my brother. He's a gentle giant, he don't hurt anybody."

According to CBS Minnesota, the family are still coming to grips with the tragedy, and are struggling to comprehend the police officer's actions.

They also shared their surprise with the large number of people protesting. It was revealed that they have started a GoFundMe for "financial support or messages of encouragement."
