The video of raw talent and passion attracted the attention of many people. In a little over three days, it had already gathered hundreds of likes and over twenty-five thousand views.
The young star's fans and followers trooped to the comment section to praise him for his flawless execution, calling him a legend. Many expressed their joy at the continuation of the Pippen legacy.
Others praised him for his talent and hard work, noting that he was very dedicated to the game without handouts from his legendary father.
Scottie Jr.'s parents' divorce after years of attempting to stay together attracted a lot of buzz.
At 19, the young athlete has already started making a name for himself and stepping out of his father's influential shadow. He began by playing high school basketball at his LA high school, Sierra Canyon, where the Los Angeles Times named him to the All-Area Team.

After he moved to college, Vanderbilt, Scottie Jr. started to gain more momentum and announced on Twitter that he realized his dream by playing for such a respected school. 247Sports asked him why he had chosen Vanderbilt as his College in an interview. He revealed that he picked them because he had a good relationship with their coaches.
He also pointed not-so-humbly that he thought they needed a man of his resources at the point guard position. His choice was also interesting because Pippen had worked with Bryce Drew, a Vanderbilt coach, in the 1998-1999 season.
Scottie Sr. has seven kids, including Scottie Jr., and his first son, Antron, was born to him and his first wife, Karen McCollum, who he was married to between 1988 and 1990. He shares a daughter, Taylor, with a former girlfriend, Sonya Robby.
His third child, Sierra, was born in 1995 to the athlete and an ex-girlfriend, Yvette De Leon. His youngest four kids, Scottie Jr., Preston, Justin, and Sophia, were born to him and his second wife, Larsa Pippen. In 2018, Larsa filed for divorce from the NBA star after two decades of being married.

Larsa, who is a blogger and fashionista, received a lot of backlash over the divorce. In 2020, Instagram users trolled her for leaving the athlete, and she did her best to clear her name as much as possible, all the while refraining from tarnishing his image.
The divorce and the buzz that surrounded it came after many years of attempting to stay together. Both parties have moved on, and it seems their kids have reconciled with the situation as best as possible.
