Since their divorce, Shaq and Shaunie have tried their best to maintain a healthy relationship for their five children. Over the years, the duo has taken steps that showed they still respect and love each other.

TV One reports that they have often exchanged subtle romantic remarks and comments with one another either on social media or in interviews.

The New Jersey native was the first to file for divorce in 2007 but withdrew the petition and reconciled with his ex-partner. They, however, split in 2009 after she pushed for an annulment of their marriage.

Shaunie, who, according to Inquistr, gained her popularity by producing and starring in the VH1 reality TV show “Basketball Wives” together with her 7’1 husband threw their daughter, Amirah a lavish 16th birthday party.

BET shares that TMZ Sports reported that the celebration cost nearly a whooping sum of $1 million. The blended family most recently started a dance-off competition within themselves.

The O’Neal matriarch posted to her Instagram, a video of herself and her daughters, Amirah and Me’ arah dancing. At the same time, she challenged the O’Neal boys, including her ex-husband, to post theirs.
