Former NBA Star Rick Fox Is Proud Dad of 2 Children – inside His Life as a Father

NBA star Rick Fox is a proud father to two children who share a striking resemblance to him, and just like their father, Sasha and Kyle have grown up to be beautiful adults.

Former Los Angeles Lakers star, Rick Fox played in the NBA from 1991 to 2004, and during his 13-year long career, he won three championships alongside Kobe Bryant and Larry Bird.

Although Fox garnered several achievements in basketball, his greatest achievement is perhaps being a father to his two children, Sasha Gabriella Fox, and Kyle Fox.

Rick welcomed his first child, Kyle Fox, on October 13, 1994, with his then-girlfriend, Kari Hillmans. Unlike his dad, Kyle has kept a low profile over the years, but judging from Rick's Instagram page, he shares a strong bond with his son.

In an Instagram post shared last summer, the former "Boston Celtic" player and his son were pictured hanging out with Rick's friend, King David Rice.

With the trio all donning black T-shirts, they posed next to each other as they flashed charming smiles. Captioning the picture, Fox wrote:

"Quality time with @kylea.fox and his #GodFather #KingDavidRice 35 years of friendship #Love."

Another adorable snap shared by the NBA star saw him posing with Kyle at a sports event. While Rick rocked a chic blue and orange jacket, his son opted for a more casual look with a T-shirt and jeans.

In 2015, Fox became one of the first prolific athletes to go venture into eSports after he purchased a professional League of Legends team, "Echo Fox."

The following year, Rick reportedly confessed that he was able to forge a strong bond with Kyle through video games and eSports.

While playing for Lakers, Fox lived far away from his son, but with the help of online games like "World of Warcraft" and "League of Legends, " the two formed a strong connection.

SASHA GABRIELLA FOX

In 1999, Rick married former Miss America, Vanessa Williams, and on May 1, 2000, the couple welcomed their only child together, Sasha Gabriella Fox.

Although Sasha's parents got divorced, the 20-year-old enjoys enough love from her famous daddy, who always shares his daughter's images.

Taking to Instagram, Rick celebrated the 2018 labor day weekend with a cute picture of himself and Sasha posing alongside Jeanene Fox. With Rick standing in the middle, the trio flashed their gorgeous smiles at the camera.

In celebration of Sasha's eighteenth birthday, the doting father took to Instagram, where he paid a sweet tribute to his baby girl.

Sharing an adorable photo of them alongside a gorgeous selfie of Sasha, Rick wrote a heartwarming caption that read:

"Today, we get to celebrate YOU!! I am so proud to be Your Guide Your Protector Your Dad Sasha ~ Happy18thBirthday Sashita Sashiko."

During Sasha's high school graduation in 2018, the doting father struck a pose with his daughter alongside her mother, Vanessa.

With influences from both of her parents, Sasha has set her eyes on an acting career, and in 2019, the 20-year-old made her first movie debut in "One Fine Christmas."
