Jaleel White of 'Family Matters' and His Daughter Samaya Visit Drive-in Movie Theater

Jaleel White from "Family Matters" practiced safe social distancing while getting out of the house as he enjoyed a drive-in movie date with his only daughter.

Jaleel White has learned to embrace every moment of being a single father to his look-alike daughter named Samaya White.

The father-daughter duo always makes time for special dates. Jaleel has documented their trips to restaurants, activities on the beach, and sometimes a cooking session at home.

Being quarantined in their home hasn't put a stop to their bonding activities. Although Jaleel and Samaya usually enjoy going to the movie, and on occasion, a star-studded movie premiere, they recently made their own movie night.

Jaleel treated his daughter to a few Hanna-Barbera classics that included the "Jetsons," "Scooby-Doo," and, "Astro." He made the experience complete with homemade popcorn.

For their most recent movie date, Jaleel upgraded the experience and took Samaya out for a drive-in movie. In his caption, he said:

"Who else tryna hit this Drive-In? Everything simple is cool again."

The proud father took the necessary precautions to practice safe social distancing as they enjoyed their parking lot movie experience while wearing matching facemasks that had the words "black don't crack," written across the front.

Jaleel posted photos of them posing at the drive-in before the movie. He also shared a video of Samaya showing off some impressive choreography as she danced to the music he was blasting from his car.

The post has many of Jaleel fans reminiscing over the days they used to go to drive-in movies. "Way to go, Jaleel. So many people haven't seen drive-in movies in years, praised one fan.

One person said, "you are such a good dad. You guys always have fun together." Another fan agreed with his caption about enjoying the simple things in life.

, Jaleel admitted that Samaya is the most significant motivating factor behind his career because he wants to set a good example for a strong work ethic.

The actor said that he is aware that she watches every project he takes on and knows the reason he has to travel a lot, so it keeps him inspired to keep working.
