Gabrielle Union Calls Daughter Kaavia Her Friend in New Snaps Following Her AGT Complaints
“Being Mary Jane” star Gabrielle Union shares photos of her one-year-old daughter, Kaavia-James Wade, calling her a friend, amid backlash from the public after filing a suit against America’s Got Talent.
In the wake of the uproar rising from her allegations against NBC Universal, “AGT” creator Simon Cowell, and media conglomerates, Fremantle and Syco, Gabrielle Union has found a friend in her baby girl who she shares with husband, Dwayne Wade.

While she is famous for doting on her family and sharing many uploads of them on her Instagram page, this time, Gabrielle took to her Instagram story to upload two different pictures of her daughter.
NBC’s response to the actress’s allegations was that a third-party investigation revealed that the 47-year-old’s claims of racism were unfounded.

In one, the little tot looked adorable in a blue and white checkered onesie while carrying a brown teddy bear. The second snap features her in an oversized shirt. The latter comes with the sweet words from her mom, “Thank you for being a friend…”
It’s no surprise Union needs a friend during this period following the “AGT” scandal. Luckily, her husband has been very supportive amid the whole saga.

The latest report on the matter by People Magazine
that
recently took to Twitter to defend his wife while sharing unnerving incidents that have occurred since Gabrielle’s contract with “America’s Got Talent” ended last November.
According to the publication, the NBA star revealed that since his wife expressed concerns about the alleged lack of racial sensitivity, unknown people have followed and watched his family.
He also criticized NBC for dismissing Union’s complaints and portraying her as bitter because her contract was canceled after one year. Good Housekeeping shares that NBC’s response to the actress’s allegations was that a third-party investigation revealed that the 47-year-old’s claims of racism were unfounded.
As the “Deliver Us From Eva” star continues to fight for racial equality in the workplace and America as a whole, an endorsement from Oprah on her IMDB profile comes to mind.
Oprah praised her activities as a women’s advocate, especially on the issue of violence against women after when she was only 19, she survived a rape at gunpoint. Gabrielle’s journey to motherhood is also a testament to her strength and vigor.
According to W Magazine, after numerous miscarriages and failed IVF cycles, she welcomed her biological daughter, Kaavia, through surrogacy on November 7, 2018.
