Alfonso Ribeiro's Daughter Ava Smiles Brightly as Her Grandma Holds Her in a Photo
Alfonso Ribeiro's wife penned a sweet message for mother in honor of her birthday as she proudly bragged about her mother's basketball skills.
Angela Ribeiro shared an adorable photo of her mother and daughter, Ava Ribeiro, posing together as she penned a touching birthday tribute, she wrote:
"You're the most supportive, loving, fun, understanding, skilled-basketball-player-and-track-athlete-of-a-mother I know."
In her touching message, Angela thanked her mother for always being there for her family. As she quoted her son, Alfonso Jr, she added:
"In the words of AJ, 'I don't know of any other nanas who can play basketball like mine...and my nana can play basketball like really good!''
Angela's mother's birthday comes only days after she and her husband, Alfonso Ribeiro, took their children on a road trip across the country.
They started at the Grand Canyon, where Angela revealed that the trip happened after they had a house full of relatives for the summer and decided to get in an RV and travel.
Alfonso is the proud father of four children. In an interview with Closer Weekly, he revealed that he has a very hands-on approach to parenting.
He explained that when it comes to educating his children, he prefers to give them real-life experiences by travelling the world to see many of the fascinating places they learn about. As part of their road trip, Angela shared photos from one of their stops.

During their RV adventure, the family made a stop in a park in Gothenburg, Nebraska, where they threw around a Frisbee while stretching their legs.
The couple's daughter, Ava Sue, whom they welcomed a year ago, was also pictured stretching her legs as she hung from a baby swing.

In an interview with
, Alfonso revealed that at only a few months old, his daughter was already showing her bright personality. He called her a "sweetheart."
The "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air," star gushed that Ava is always happy and smiling. He added that her big brothers had adjusted well to their sister, and he feels that her addition has brought even more love in their family.
