When Quincy was born, Fields was 44-years-old. At the time she revealed that she was pregnant, people were asking her about the challenges of being pregnant after 40. She confessed that the couple had been trying for a long time and that she actually had two miscarriages. But still, she would encourage anyone trying.

A CHILD STAR

Dorothy “Tootie” Ramsey on “The Facts of Life” was the role that changed Kim Fields’ life forever. But she confessed during an interview that she almost missed the audition that later gave her the spot for the hit sitcom that ran from 1979 until 1988.

It was her mother, fellow actress Chip Fields, who convinced her to do the audition. With a long career on her path, Chip has been best known for being Janet Jackson's character abusive birth mom on “Good Times” from 1976 until 1979.

According to Fields, growing up in Hollywood was not easy. She said that it was even more difficult to cope with puberty in front of cameras and that the media used to be mean towards her and her castmates.

However, her family was always there to support her. She said: “They supported me, let me cry on their shoulders when I was frustrated, when I was unsure, when the waters just seemed to be so uncharted”

GOSSIP AROUND

Fields and Morgan became part of the cast of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta”. In 2016, during an episode of the Jamaican season, castmate Kenya Moore made some serious allegations over Morgan’s sexuality.
