Kim Fields Laughs in an Adorable Video of Her Son Quincy Performing for Her as 'Lil Dino'
The “Facts of Life” actress has had a long and steady career since childhood. Her family then, and the one she has built with her husband are her main support. Her son, Quincy, reminds her where the fun really is: at home.
Every celebrity is trying to keep the fun at home while the coronavirus pandemic still hits some cities. “Facts of life” star Kim Fields’ son, Quincy, knows exactly how to entertain her mom while pretending to be a dinosaur.
“Roooaaar” constantly said the little 6-year-old boy while goofing around wearing a dinosaur hat to make his mom a joke. According to the caption written by Fields, Quincy specifically asked her to film him and post the video on her Instagram.
The video became popular very quickly among Fields’ followers, and some of them even commented that the boy might have some good genes in his blood to pursue a possible acting career in the future.
THE FAMILY
The “Living Single” actress is married to her husband, Broadway actor Chris Morgan, since July 2007. They have two children together. Sebastian Alexander, their first son, was born in May 2007, and Quincy, their second child, was welcomed in December 2013.
When Quincy was born, Fields was 44-years-old. At the time she revealed that she was pregnant, people were asking her about the challenges of being pregnant after 40. She confessed that the couple had been trying for a long time and that she actually had two miscarriages. But still, she would encourage anyone trying.
A CHILD STAR
Dorothy “Tootie” Ramsey on “The Facts of Life” was the role that changed Kim Fields’ life forever. But she confessed during an interview that she almost missed the audition that later gave her the spot for the hit sitcom that ran from 1979 until 1988.
It was her mother, fellow actress Chip Fields, who convinced her to do the audition. With a long career on her path, Chip has been best known for being Janet Jackson's character abusive birth mom on “Good Times” from 1976 until 1979.
According to Fields, growing up in Hollywood was not easy. She said that it was even more difficult to cope with puberty in front of cameras and that the media used to be mean towards her and her castmates.
However, her family was always there to support her. She said: “They supported me, let me cry on their shoulders when I was frustrated, when I was unsure, when the waters just seemed to be so uncharted”
GOSSIP AROUND
Fields and Morgan became part of the cast of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta”. In 2016, during an episode of the Jamaican season, castmate Kenya Moore made some serious allegations over Morgan’s sexuality.

As soon as her false speculations were known by Kim’s husband, he offered an interview to talk back on her fake comments and to set the record straight. He said: “It's disappointing to me that someone would make such reckless statements without thinking of the true repercussions of it. You just labeled (people) as weak or inept or unable or lesser than.”
