Heather Locklear Reportedly Engaged to Her Longtime Boyfriend Chris Heisser

Veteran actress Heather Locklear is reportedly engaged to her longtime boyfriend and high school sweetheart Chris Heisser, after being spotted wearing an engagement ring.

Sometime last week, Locklear was spotted running some errands in Los Angeles while casually dressed with her facemask. However, what caught people's attention was the large diamond ring on her finger.

Following this, People reached out to a close friend of the family to confirm the news, and it was affirmed that Locklear and Heisser had been engaged since April. The source claimed that:

"They are really happy together. Her family, her parents, her siblings, and her daughter are all supporting her and excited for her."

The source also added that the couple got engaged as they celebrated Locklear's year of sobriety and that the actress was in a great place following her substance abuse battle.

Locklear and Heisser had been highschool sweethearts, but the two fell out of touch and reconnected a few years ago, after which they picked up their romance where they left off.

Despite the tumultuous past, Locklear has made a turnaround.

The past couple of years have been trying for Locklear, who has had run-ins with the law and battled substance abuse. She was charged with eight counts of misdemeanor and pleaded no contest to the charges in 2019.

Some of her charges include: assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest, assaulting an EMT officer, and using controlled substances. Following this, a judge put Locklear on informal three-year probation and asked her to spend 30 days in a rehabilitation program.

In September 2019, Locklear was released from the rehabilitation program and continued to seek outpatient therapy, which was a part of her plea deal.

Despite the tumultuous past, Locklear has made a turnaround, and according to sources close to her, she is now strong, clearheaded, and able to take care of her 91-year-old Dad and her eighty-something-year-old mother.

Prior to her engagement with Heisser, Locklear has been married twice. Her first marriage was to rockstar Tommy Lee; the two had a troubled marriage causing them to get a divorce.

After her relationship with Tommy Lee ended, Locklear started dating Richie Sambora, and the two got married and had a daughter named Ava. The couple divorced when Locklear discovered inappropriate pictures sent to Richie by a close friend.

Ultimately, while Locklear has had her fair share of troubles in the past, she is excited to start this new phase of her life with Heisser.
