Princess Charlotte shares a striking resemblance with her late grandmother, Princess Diana, and royal fans cannot keep calm about it.

Insider reported that the picture, which was shot on the grounds of the family’s Norfolk home, made its way to the couple’s social media pages, including Twitter.
The pictures, which were posted in 2018, caused fans to state that Diana and Charlotte had similar face shape and hair.
Soon after the image was shared, many royal fans excitedly took to the replies to state how similar 5-year-old Charlotte looked to her late grandmother, Princess Diana. While two people shared side-by-side images of Charlotte and Diana to show how “alike” they looked, a third person wrote:
“Charlotte has William’s smile that is really Diana’s smile. Her smile is sooo Diana.”
A fourth person said that “Charlotte is so Lady Diana,” while a fifth royal fan noted that the 5-year-old is the spitting image of late Diana.
The photo of Diana that fans used to compare the two was taken back in 1969 as she stood in a garden and held on to a guinea pig, according to Daily Mail.
As it turned out, this would not be the first time that people would compare Charlotte and her grandmother, as Harper's Bazaar revealed that the 5-year-old’s first day of nursery school pictures elicited the same response.
The pictures, which were posted in 2018, caused fans to state that Diana and Charlotte had similar face shape and hair. The site noted that the young princess was also starting to bear some resemblance with her great grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.
Amid the attention that Charlotte got from the public, Hello! Magazine observed that some fans pointed out how relaxed and happy her father looked in the family portrait.
The father of three reportedly spoke about how being a father has affected him when he appeared on “When Ant and Dec Met The Prince: 40 Years of the Prince's Trust,” back in 2016 and said:
“I’m a lot more emotional than I used to be. I never used to get too wound up or worried about things.”
The Duke of Cambridge and his family have been spending loads of quality time together in Norfolk since the beginning of the novel coronavirus pandemic.
