A SWEET MESSAGE FOR THE FATHER OF HER CHILDREN
Last weekend, the “Real Housewives of Potomac” star shared an outdoor pic of her family including Jamal and their three girls, Grace, Angel, and Adore. All of them were wearing protective masks.
She used the family portrait to pay tribute to Jamal with a sweet message for him.
“Thank you for the wonderful love that you give our girls. #Happy Fathers Day.”
THEIR ON-AND-OFF UNION
Gizelle’s marriage to Jamal began in 2002 but ended after five years due to Jamal’s infidelity which bore several children outside of their union.
This year, rumors surfaced that Jamal, a church pastor, fathered another child with someone from his congregation.
12 years later, the couple rekindled their romance and gave their relationship another shot. Many were skeptical about their reconciliation and accused them of faking it.
NO LOVE LOST
Last year, the 49-year-old housewife opened up about her relationship with Jamal which she revealed was never lost even after their divorce. She said they remained close while co-parenting their girls.
She admitted their daughters were cautious about their parents dating again due to Jamal’s cheating past but the reality star assured that Jamal had matured and she had no intention of looking back.
HAUNTED BY THE PAST
This didn't mean though that their past didn’t return to haunt them. This year, rumors surfaced that Jamal, a church pastor, fathered another child with someone from his congregation.
However, Gizelle denied this during an interview with Andy Cohen in May. According to her, the rumors are false.
“Clearly we’re very important if people are going to make up these lies,” she said. “Put some respect on Jamal’s name. He’s doing wonderful things in Atlanta.”
Whether the public believes them or not, Gizelle is clearly moving forward with their relationship. Their daughters who are still young can benefit from this too. Twins Angel and Adore just graduated from middle school while Grace, 14, is just a year older.
Moreover, the girls will need all the guidance they can get from their parents in managing their own restaurant called Arizona's which they relaunched last year.
