'Married to Medicine' Star Quad Webb Shares First-Ever Glimpse of New Daughter in Latest Post
'Married To Medicine' star Quad Webb shared the first photo of her new-born and attached a message inspired by the 'Black Lives Matter' movement.
Quad Webb from 'Married to Medicine' made a surprise announcement a month ago, when she revealed during her interview with DELUXMagazine that she was a new mother.
The reality star explained that she had adopted a girl named Ariana, whom she had given the nickname Ari.
At the time of her announcement, she shared that her daughter was born on April 8th, and they hadn't met yet. Quad said Ari was born at 8 pounds and was in the hospital while the waited to bring her home.
The new mom admitted that she was anxious about bringing Ari home. However, Quad said that she was proud of the responsibility that was placed upon her and hoped to give Ari the best things in life.
In a statement to Daily Dish, Quad revealed that she and her mother have custody of Ari. They had both been involved in preparing for the new-born.
With Quad's family by her side, she gushed, "my mom and I are extremely happy to welcome baby Ari to her new village. We have been working to get her home to begin what will surely be a joyous, successful, and opportunity-filled life."
Almost two months since her daughter's birth, Quad finally made Ari's highly anticipated reveal. Along with her first picture, she shared a touching message inspired by the "Black Lives Matter Movement," saying:
"Life is precious, it should be protected and valued."
The photo gave only a glimpse of Ari, and it showed the side profile of her holding Quad's finger. She appeared to be lying on a pink cushion while dressed in matching onesie.
As many fans welcomed her to motherhood, one person said, "you deserve this, and she deserves you!" Another fan added, "you motivate us, women, in so many ways. I love you for this." A commenter also shared their surprise with the announcement.

Ari's arrival comes as Quad had started a new chapter in her life after the divorce from her ex-husband, Dr. Gregory Lunceford.
The couple had been married for six years before finalizing their divorce in 2019. Despite her attempts to repair the marriage, Quad had alleged that infidelity and abuse were the reasons behind their split.
