Pierce Brosnan Pays Touching Tribute to His Daughter Charlotte on Her Death Anniversary

Actor Pierce Brosnan recently shared a photo of himself while also penning a touching tribute to his late daughter, Charlotte, who died from ovarian cancer seven years ago.

Pierce Brosnan paid a sweet tribute to his late daughter, Charlotte, exactly seven years after she tragically passed away. In a recent Instagram photo, Brosnan shared a photo of himself sitting on a white chair on his porch as he donned a white shirt, a pair of shorts, and sunglasses.

With one hand resting on a pink throw pillow, Brosnan flashed a charming smile as he posed for the snapshot, which was taken by his wife, Keely Shaye Smith.

In his caption, Brosnan wrote a tribute to Charlotte while also wishing his granddaughter, Marley May, a happy birthday. He wrote:

"Here's looking at you, kid... in remembrance of Charlotte and with happy birthday wishes for my darling Marley May."

Shortly after sharing the tribute, fans and followers took to the comments section where they left their good wishes. One user wrote, "Thoughts of Charlotte. Hugs to you mate" while another added, "Always with us, Shiny Charlotte, dearly missed." with several others gushing over Brosnan's good looks.

Despite his successful career as an actor, Brosnan now maintains a low profile and currently lives in a Malibu mansion with his beloved wife.

Charlotte, who was Brosnan's adopted daughter, passed away on June 28, 2013, after a long fight with ovarian cancer. She was aged 42 at the time of her death. Charlotte's mother, Brosnan's first wife, Cassandra Harris, also died of ovarian cancer back in 1991 when she was only forty-three.

Before her marriage to Brosnan in 1980, Harris married Dermot Harris, with whom she shared Charlotte and a son named Christopher. Five years after the death of Dermot in 1896, Brosnan went on to adopt his wife's kids, and in addition to them, the couple also shared one other son, Sean Brosnan.

In 1994, Brosnan found love again when he met his wife, Keely, at a Mexican Bar, and by 2001, they tied the knot. Presently, the couple shares two sons, Dylan and Paris, and Brosnan is more in love than ever.

While speaking about Keely, Brosnan reportedly revealed that she had helped him through the wave of depression he experienced after suffering the loss of Charlotte and Cassandra.

According to him, Keely is full of energy and passion, and one look from her was enough to make him go weak. Despite his successful career as an actor, Brosnan now maintains a low profile and currently lives in a Malibu mansion with his beloved wife.
