Watch Jennifer Hudson's Son David Jr Show off His Strength While Working Out with Dad (Video)

Jennifer Hudson and David Otunga’s son, David Jr., showed off his strength during a workout session he recently had with his father.

David Otunga and his son, David Daniel Otunga Jr., recently had some father-son bonding that saw them spending some time in the gym.

In a video that David Sr. posted to his Instagram feed, fans got to see his 10-year-old son lifting arm weights while he (David Sr.) filmed and counted the lifts in the background. The video, which has been viewed a few thousand times, was captioned:

“First we played 1 on 1 [basketball] then we built some delts. Check out Lil David destroying the #arnoldpress.”

It would be recalled that David welcomed his son with the singer-songwriter, Jennifer Hudson, back in August 2009.

Jennifer, who was engaged to David for ten years before they broke up, usually stated during interviews that she wanted to be certain about her relationship before she walked down the aisle.

As at the time, The Telegraph revealed that the then-engaged couple was thrilled to have their baby boy who weighed 7 pounds, 14 ounces, in their lives. It reportedly didn’t take long before baby David began to show an inclination towards music.

According to Country Living, Jennifer disclosed that he began showing a love for music from the time he was just one-month-old.

Even though she appreciated his interest, the singer-songwriter and actress said that she wanted him to become his “own person.” However, that didn’t stop the mother of one from coaching her son and even creating new music content with him.

With regard to her relationship with David, Chicago Tribune reported that the former couple came to an agreement following a year’s long battle of visitation time and child support.

Although the contents of the documents weren’t divulged to the public, the award-winning actress and David signed an agreement after a seven-hour closed-door negotiation.

The secrecy about the procedure was nothing new as the case’s presiding judge, Karen Bowes, signed a gag order that prevented the parents and their lawyers from talking to the media about the happenings.

E! Online revealed that the former couple’s relationship started collapsing in 2017 and had resulted in them sleeping in separate rooms for six months.
