On Wednesday, Princess Diana would have turned 59 had she not tragically die in the car accident in France. A nursery school teacher's assistant when she and Prince Charles tied the knot in 1981, her marriage to the future king of England at St. Paul's Cathedral propelled her into the spotlight.

HER PERSONALITY WON PEOPLE OVER

But Princess Diana had grace and kindness that shined through in her humanitarian work, the way she championed to break down the stigma surrounding HIV/AIDS while she also became patron to over 100 organizations. She won people over with her charisma and genuine care, and her keen sense of style caught equal attention.

TRIBUTE FROM ONE SIBLING TO ANOTHER

The special gift arrived for the 56-year-old's sister at Althorp House, which is also their Spencer ancestral home. Later on, after receiving the gift for his sister, Charles Spencer also paid tribute to her in a touching way.

Princess Diana and Prince Charles separated in 1992, ten years after she gave birth to their eldest son Prince William in 1982. Prince Harry followed two years later, and by 1996, the divorce was legally finalized.

PRINCE HARRY'S RECENT CHARITABLE WORK

Meanwhile, Prince Harry is doing his bit to help as well. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle moved to Los Angeles earlier this year, and as the novel coronavirus pandemic continues to have a hold worldwide, the couple ventured out on occasion to help those in need.

Making sure to cover up with the required gloves and face masks, the couple went to help out at the Homeboy Industries kitchen, which aims at the improvement of the lives of previously incarcerated people.
