Inside '90 Day Fiancé' Star Leida Marghareta's Difficult Relationship with Eric Rosenbrook's Daughter

"90 Day Fiancé" stars Leida Margaretha and her husband Eric Rosenbrook have had their share of complications, many of them involving Eric's daughter Tasha.

The pair had a hard enough time when Margaretha learned that Eric did not have nearly as much money as she thought. When Eric, a former marine, couldn't buy a bed for her son, she almost called off their engagement in December 2018.

MARGARETHA CONVINCES ERIC TO MOVE, KICK OUT DAUGHTER

Margaretha compelled Eric to finally leave his mother's home, after living with her for over three decades. She wanted privacy and seemed not to care less about the mother-son bond.

Despite Margaretha's threats to call off the wedding and return to Indonesia, she ended up staying — but not without demands. Eric's daughter Tasha was also a problem.

In an episode, Eric told Margaretha, "In America, family is what truly matters. And it's everybody, even kids from a different marriage." This didn't save him from nearly cutting ties with his daughter.

After coming home one day to find Tasha's room in a mess, Margaretha somehow convinced Eric to kick out his teenage daughter in hopes of keeping his partner in the country. Yet the drama didn't end there.

TEMPORARY RESTRAINING ORDER FURTHER DIVIDES FAMILY

In September 2019, Margaretha filed a restraining order against Tasha with help from Eric. The court order meant Tasha was not allowed to contact Leida via social media platforms or harass her.

The restraining order didn't prevent Tasha from seeing her dad, but it seems that that didn't happen much since she was kicked out. The betrayal reportedly impacted Tasha's mental health.

Based on her Instagram stories, she fell into depression and stopped eating until she got sick. In addition, she's had to endure anxiety attacks for years. Her situation with Margaretha didn't make it easier.

Tasha tried and failed to get around the restraining order but to no avail. Eventually, she seemed to give up. "It's just not worth my mental health anymore," she reportedly said.

ESTABLISHING TIES THROUGH LOVE OF COSPLAY

About two months later, Margaretha dropped the restraining order in hopes of mending things with Tasha. The latter has changed her name to Alari Stark, according to Newsweek.

As for Margaretha, she insisted that the restraining order was always meant to be temporary and that she has "nothing against Alari." She claimed that she hates seeing Eric and his family in a feud.

Furthermore, Margaretha heard that Tasha had also said that she has nothing against her father's wife. She spoke of hobbies she shares with the young girl like cosplay, art, and crafts.

The pair seemed to be on good terms when Margaretha shared a photo of her and Tasha sitting at a cosplay panel in October. In their latest update on the matter, they've seemed to have settled down significantly.

THINGS SEEM QUIET IN LATEST UPDATE

Speaking on the Domenick Nati Show in July 2020, Eric said that between him and his daughter, "Things were talking out and worked out." However, he acknowledged that things that couldn't be undone still affect them.

The father-daughter pair do talk, mostly when Eric visits his family or attends family events. They see each other at least every two weeks or so. Considering how things were before, it's definitely an improvement.

ELIZABETH POTTHAST'S HAPPY FAMILY OF THREE

Another "90 Day Fiance" alum is living her life with her partner from the show. Elizabeth Potthast and Andrei Castravet exchanged vows in 2018 and welcomed their first daughter in 2019.

In an April post, the family of three graced Instagram with a heartwarming photo showing their Easter celebrations. The happy bunch enjoyed a picnic outside in the grass and looked to be in good spirits.
