Papoose Reveals He and Remy Ma Are Expecting Their Second Child Together

Lovebirds Remy Ma and Papoose recently announced that they have a new bundle of joy on the way, and their fans couldn’t be more excited. The duo is proud parents to daughter Reminisce who they welcomed in 2018.

Congratulations are in order as Essence Magazine reports that rapper Papoose and his wife, Remy Ma, are expecting their second child together.

According to the news outlet, Papoose broke the happy news during a virtual interview with Fox Soul’s Claudia Jordan. While explaining how he and his family were dealing with the new way of living amid the novel coronavirus pandemic, the rapper said:

“I’m just making the best out of it, and we’re moving forward. Some good things are coming out of this. We’re going to have a new child real soon.”

It would be recalled that Papoose and Remy welcomed their first child, Reminisce Mackenzie, back in December 2018 — and they have been showering her with love. Earlier this year, BET revealed that Remy threw the 1-year-old a surprise party because she felt like it.

Remy divulged the reason she and [Papoose] referred to their first child as “The Golden Child.” The award-winning rapper noted that her then-4-month-old daughter impressed her with the way she was growing.

As at the time of the festivities, the site noted that Remy uploaded a video of the tot having fun at the impromptu event that was filled with cupcakes, toy-filled gift bags, and a custom-made “Not My Birthday” banner. Through the caption of the clip, the mother of two explained that:

“I threw her a party JUST CUZ; she needed new toys and was getting restless in the house all day every day.”

Just a year ago, Essence shared that Remy divulged the reason she and her man referred to their first child as “The Golden Child.” The award-winning rapper noted that her then-4-month-old daughter impressed her with the way she was growing.

Citing examples, Remy said that Reminisce would often mimic her father’s actions and paid unshakable attention whenever her favorite show, “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse” was on TV.
