Cameron Boyce's Father Victor Leads Celebrities in Remembering Late Son a Year after His Death
Cameron Boyce's family and friends paid tribute to the late actor a year after his death. His father, Victor, started by sharing a touching photo from their time together.
Monday marked the first year since former Disney star Cameron Boyce passed away at 20 years old. The "Descendants" actor had epilepsy, which caused him to have a fatal seizure on July 6, 2019.
Cameron left behind both his parents, many friends, and countless fans all around the world. Some of his celebrity colleagues took to social media to commemorate him on Monday. Their posts are found below.

CAMERON'S HONORED BY DAD AND SKAI JACKSON
For his part, Cameron's dad Victor shared a candid, slightly blurry photo of Cameron participating in an outdoor trampoline activity with several others. A shirtless Cameron was looking back in the shot.
"His memory is a blessing," Victor captioned the picture. The post received over 240k likes and several comments of support from followers and fans.
On Twitter, fellow Disney star Skai Jackson wrote, "I think about you always." She included a throwback clip showing Cameron lip-syncing to a song using various gestures.
"DESCENDANTS" CO-STARS REMEMBER CAMERON
"Feel the Beat's" Sofia Carson jumped on Instagram to share sweet words of tribute to her former co-star writing, "Not having you, hurts too much. But somehow, you still manage to light up our whole entire world."
Another "Descendants," alum, Dove Cameron, also shared touching words along with three photos of her and Cameron before the latter's untimely death.
TRIBUTE ON CAMERON'S WOULD-BE BIRTHDAY
Adam Sandler, who worked with Cameron on the 2010 comedy "Grown Ups," paid his respects to the late actor back in May on what would have been his 21st birthday.
Cameron's mom Libby also shared a heart-wrenching message on her son's birthday. She spoke about Cameron's foundation, which fans were giving substantial donations to.
Getting a bit choked up, Libby said she was in awe of "how many people loved Cameron," who would have turned 21 years old on May 28. She thanked the fans again for their support and donations.
LEAVING BEHIND A LEGACY OF CHARITY
In the last interview before his death, the "Jessie" star talked about the joy one gets from positively changing others' lives. His family and friends are honoring him by doing just that.
The foundation recently collaborated with Cameron's "Descendants" co-star Dove Cameron to start a t-shirt campaign called Wielding Peace, which fights against gun violence.

The t-shirts sport a picture of Cameron's tattoo — a gun barrel with flowers coming out of it — and are only available in limited amounts. Some of the proceeds also went towards the Actors Fund COVID Relief.
