The cryptic photo hid the teenager's face and showed Kidman doting on her eldest daughter with a simple caption that read, "Birthday hugs for our darling Sunday."
Keith and Nicole are also doting parents Faith Margaret, 9, and the power couple is super protective of their girls.
Fans were elated by the rare photo and took to the comment section to wish the actress's first daughter with her husband Keith Urban a wonderful birthday, with many calling her beautiful.
ET Online notes that although the "Queen of the Desert" star rarely shares photos of her children, she whets fans' appetites once in a while with candid shots.
This was the case in November when fans got a glimpse of Sunday in a photo her mother shared of them enjoying a walk during autumn. The Daily Mail reports that the Australian actress once revealed the inspiration behind her eldest daughter's name during an interview saying:
"That's our favorite day because if you're happy and you've got your family and the things around you, then Sunday's a beautiful day."
Keith and Nicole are also doting parents Faith Margaret, 9, and the power couple is super protective of their girls. Outside her marriage, Nicole is mother to Isabella, 27 and Conner 25, who she adopted during her marriage to Tom Cruise.
Sunday's birthday shoutout comes shortly after Kidman talked about her motherhood challenges during the lockdown.
Per HELLO! Magazine, the "Big Little Lies" actress confessed during an interview that she had learned a lot from her girls while "doing a lot of mothering."
She also discussed the difficulties that come with homeschooling and how she has to deal with "all of the other emotions."However, it is not all work and no play for Nicole, her husband, and the girls as Keith spoke about how much fun they have been having.
The "God Whispered Your Name" crooner described their house as "vibrant" and noted they all try to stay active as much as possible.
