The actress is the daughter of former model Yolanda and George Rivera. Her younger brother is NFL tight end, Mychal Rivera. Her younger sister, on the other hand, is runway model Nickayla Rivera.

In February 2020, Rivera shared a passionate note for her beloved mother on her birthday. As reported by Heavy, she called Yolanda the "Epitome of Beauty" and "Pinnacle of Grace."
